It's Monday again! And this Monday we're looking at the Sailor Moon Charm Bracelet by GE, released early to mid 2012!

Quality - Looking at this piece, it gives the appearance of a relatively nice piece. But looks can be deceiving when it comes to quality. Unfortunately, once again, we have a cheap tin/aluminum bracelet that came out of GE. It's extremely lightweight and the actual bracelet itself gives off the "I'm going to turn you green!" vibe. One swift tug and this bracelet is sure to snap and break. Unfortunately, leaving the person wearing it completely unaware it's fallen off until it's too late. It's honestly, THAT light. The charms themselves seem to be a TAD thicker with an enamel coating, but the jump ring holding them is about the same as the bracelet itself.

Appearance - Once again, looking at this bracelet, you'd think you might have paid over $20 for it. The charms are (no pun intended?) charming and they are colorful and whimsical to wear. With Luna, a crescent moon, Sailor Moon's bow and the new "Sailor Moon" logo, it's hard to mistake this charm bracelet as something "run of the mill". And the enamel on each charm truly does make them shine brightly.

Packaging - Once again, we have the same cardboard appearance from Sailor Moon and Luna that we're all too familiar with. Shouldn't we be in second season by now?? Anyway, this particular bracelet came in a plastic bag as well to keep from the charms and bracelet itself from being scratched. Which is once again, refreshing.

Art - The charms themselves are quite accurate for their size. While glossy and the colors vibrant, we have recognizable pieces that pop. Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same for the packaging. Alas, we're stuck with the same pose from our favorite heroine and talking cat as we've seen before coming from GE.

Functionality - Functionally speaking, this charm does exactly what it's set out to do. Look charming of course! It hangs off the wrist nicely, while accenting almost any color clothing you might be wearing.

Fun - This bracelet is loads of fun to wear around. Especially if you're matching it to the Sailor Moon bow necklace! Now you can officially carry Luna around wherever you go without the hassle of people screaming no pets allowed or black fur coming off you like you're some kind of summer Yeti.

Cost - The range on this piece is quite broad for a bracelet. Ranging from about $10.50 to $17.95 depending on where you go and if you have to pay insurance.

Availability - Thankfully this bracelet is quite popular and as such, can be found at almost any anime store online as well as on eBay and Amazon.

I personally bought mine at RightStuf.com for a decent price. The shipping was delayed, but it was well packaged. But you can find yours almost anywhere!
This bracelet is a ton of fun to have and wear to almost any occasion! With it's bright colors and recognizable characters, it's sure to impress and inspire others to let their "inner Moonie" out. I hear even Queen Beryl has one herself.
