It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another Sailor Moon Review!! This Wednesday we're going to take a look at the Sailor Moon Peace Cinch Back Sack that was made by GE and sold/selling at Hot Topic stores nationwide! This item was released in late 2011.

 

Quality - The quality of the back sack is nice. But it's not completely durable. Although it appears to have a strong material to hold it together, we still have the ropes holding it onto your back strung between 2 eyelets. Unfortunately, in my experience, these are great for holding your towel and swimsuit when you're going to the beach or maybe even a few items you bring home with you from the mall. But definitely not durable enough to use as a backpack for school let's say. The heavier the items, the more it wears on this and eventually gives in. Keep also in mind, that the front of it, appears to be ENTIRELY screen printed. Which tends to peel and show dirt and holes better than any other out there.

Appearance - This back sack really is something to catch someone's attention. Instead of just a little picture like most back sacks tend to have (or a little logo), we have Sailor Moon in all her glory just dominating the back sack itself! It truly commands attention from all who might see it.

Packaging - Yet again, we're lacking in the packaging department. With a simple cardboard piece to hold it to the pegs at the local stores, that's all we have. Unfortunately, in some HT stores, I've seen these quite low to the ground, where careless people will pick it up and not put it back. Leaving it to succumb to the floor and all the dirt that gets tracked in with it. So be sure to examine your back sack before buying.

Art - The artwork is fantastic! We have Sailor Moon kneeling with a peace sign (or Sailor V?) giving us a wink and a bright smile. And if that's not enough we have her name at the bottom and her coming out from a blue backdrop that makes it look like she's going into warp speed with that pose of hers! Complete with stars to accent the whole idea! The colors are vivid and bright and right on key with what she's supposed to look like.

Functionality - Functionally speaking, this bag does what it's set out to do. Depending on how well and long, really depends on you and what you put into it.

Fun - How much fun would it be, to take this bag to the beach, pull out your Sailor Moon towel with it and strut your stuff in Moonie style!? I'll let that mellow in your thoughts a while ..

Cost - These back sacks run anywhere from $12.79 to about $17.99.

Availability - If you can't manage to find this at any of your local HT stores or can't get delivery to where you are from them online, you can always try eBay or Amazon. 

 

 

This back sack may be a mouth full to say, but it's definitely a CINCH to take with you. You can really SACK the competition by showing this off as you walk through the mall in perfect Moonie style. And I'm certain that every Moonie will have your BACK when you pull this out at the beach for your favorite Moonie towel to be displayed as well. Okay, you can stop your "groaning" now ..
