So it's Monday and that must mean another new Sailor Moon review!! Today's late entry is the Sailor Moon lunch bag by GE, released in June 2012. This bag was actually tested out by myself today for work!

Quality - The quality of this bag is fairly nice for the price. It's stitched quite well and fairly well insulated for a brief time. In my experience, it kept refrigerated items cold for a couple hours.. 3 at most. Frozen of course last a bit longer. But I wouldn't recommend keeping this item stocked with yogurt or milk for an extended period. As the insides can get quite warm once everything has warmed up to room temperature.

Appearance - At first look, this lunch bag looks like it wouldn't hold much of anything at all. But as you can see with my daughter putting in a few items to show how big it is, it does hold a fair amount of food. Personally, I was able to fit a small lunchable, a couple of yogurts, spoon and some fruit snacks. Not much else though without squishing anything. The image is screen printed on the bag as well, so be careful with how you handle it, as it looks like a giant sticker adhered to it.

Packaging -What can I say? My item came in a plastic bag provided by the manufacturer. But normally these items would just be hung on the shelves with that little tag sticking out. So not much of a change here from GE.

Art - I won't get much into the artwork on the tag, as it's the same artwork we've seen from GE already in the past. But the actual screen printed image on there is completely awesome! With Sailor Moon inviting you to join her to lunch with a happy smile and signature pose. And then we have the brooch with her famous saying all to a starry background and new logo. Absolutely fabulous.

Functionality - Functionally speaking, this bag does quite well for the price. Remember the old saying "you get what you paid for"? In this instance it is in fact true. While you're paying for a BOSS bag here, you're not getting the full "bang for your buck". It'll hold items from the fridge for a couple hours, but don't count on it to last a long time. My advice? Put the box in your freezer overnight before using or get some freeze packs to put in there to really hold the cold.

Fun - How much fun is it to OWN that lunch hour like a BOSS?! .. Seriously!? LOTS! I know I had fun!!

Cost - $14.24 to $24.99 depending on where you go.

Availability - Fortunately, you have options here, be it Amazon, eBay or where I got mine from, RightStuf.com .. they're a wonderful group of people! If you don't mind waiting for your items, you can really get them at a discounted rate, competitive with Amazon!

So today, I owned lunch like a BOSS. And I am PROUD to be a moonie and eat my peach yogurt and lunchable from a Sailor Moon lunch bag! And while my co-workers continued to wonder if it was in fact my daughters box that I had borrowed, my daughter stood proud as a moonie and declared that it was her mommy's! And as soon as the laughter finally calmed down, I exited my lunch break with a certain air of confidence about me. For I had finished my moonie lunch with moonie pride! Now if I can just figure out a way to avoid them for the next week, I think I'll be good..
